Door magnets / decorations Helps find Stateroom 2594 in a long hallway. Personalized magnets from Etsy or generic Disney ones.

Fish extender (optional) Search Facebook for the Disney Treasure May 30, 2026 group — informal cabin-to-cabin gift exchange. Skip if it sounds like too much.

Binoculars (optional) For wildlife from the verandah, ship-spotting, or excursions.

1–2 backup lanyards Silver Castaway Club provides 4 free in your cabin. Backups in case anyone loses theirs.

Coffee mug with lid (shared) Free self-pour coffee + soda is only on the pool deck and buffet — a lidded mug saves countless trips.

Highlighter + pen For marking the daily Navigator printout if anyone prefers paper.

Over-the-door shoe organizer (optional) Hangs in the bathroom for sunscreen, meds, sunglasses — huge cabin storage upgrade.

Small night light Even oceanview cabins are dark with curtains drawn.

DCL policy

Celiac note: DCL is well-known for accommodating gluten-free guests. Email specialservices@disneycruise.com 30+ days before sailing if you haven't already. Stock up on safe snacks anyway for embarkation day and port days.

Gluten-free snacks (sealed, original packaging) Protein bars, GF crackers, snack mix. For port days when finding safe food is hardest.

GF snack stash for the Jamaica excursion day 4.5 hours off-ship = no DCL galley nearby. Pack sealed, shelf-stable.

Spanish celiac travel card for Cozumel If buying any food off-ship in Mexico. Free templates at celiactravel.com.

Personal snacks for the road Florence → Orlando is 562 miles. Sealed factory-packaged non-perishables only allowed at boarding.

Cans of soda / sparkling water (unopened) Free fountain soda only on pool deck. Bringing your own = soda in the cabin minifridge.

Trading pins + lanyard If anyone wants to trade pins with crew or other cruisers. Personal mouse ears are on each individual's list.

Prohibited or pointless

DCL does not allow on board: irons, steamers, candles, incense, surge protectors with cords, extension cords, hoverboards, drones, weapons, CBD products.

No iron, steamer, or candle Crew will confiscate at boarding. There's a press service onboard for formal night.

No surge protector or personal extension cord Magnetic USB charging hub is fine. Standard surge strips with cords are prohibited.

Skip beach towels DCL provides towels in cabin, at the pool, and staged at the gangway on Castaway Cay.

Skip hair dryer + basic shampoo/conditioner/lotion Stateroom 2594 has all of these. The hair dryer lives in a black fabric bag inside the desk (not the bathroom).

Skip large amounts of cash Most onboard purchases go on your folio. Cash = tips + ports only.
